Scania S580 KINE

Kine is a Scania S580 6×2 with a Euro 6 engine and Opticruise gearbox. It delivers 580 hp (426 kW) and meets European emission standards. The typical wheelbase for this model is 3150 mm. The Opticruise gearbox provides quick, precise gear changes and improved fuel efficiency through automated clutch control and an extended gear range.

Kine originally had a custom-made interior and bodywork. In 2024, she underwent a full upgrade at MH Auto. The upgrade included new bodywork with updated brakes and bushings. Inside, she received a new FL BUUR interior. Lighting was supplied by Strands, and aluminum wheels by BPW Hofstad. Kine features a sound system developed in collaboration with Bilradiospesialisten and Phoenix Gold, and the tires are Michelin, mounted in cooperation with Dekk Team Kløfta.

Kine combines Scania’s powerful S-series with targeted upgrades for both function and comfort. The 2024 upgrade provides modern equipment and a level of comfort tailored to the driver’s daily needs.
